Paul is an eager and extremely talented taekwondo artist and has been with Power with Purpose for three years. He is a returning student, and has come back fiercer than ever after some time off.
Looking back on his time with our club so far, several moments stand out to him as extremely proud ones.
“Joining the club, getting fit and healthy and accomplishing goals as I’m moving up in belt ranks make me proud. And just giving it my all every day.”
Paul appreciates the close friendships he is cultivating during his time at Power with Purpose. “I left the club a few years ago to follow work and personal goals. Then COVID hit and I decided to re-join the club after the worst of lockdowns were over.” He managed to overcome health issues that prevented him from being fit and strong for some time.
After two years, Paul returned to Power with Purpose with a renewed vision and finished what he started years ago. “I wanted to achieve certain goals through Taekwondo and share friendships and a unique journey through Power with Purpose.”
One of the most important lessons Paul has learned through his Taekwondo journey is setting goals and achieving them, one at a time. “Now that I’m older, I’m going back to my younger self and re-establishing goals that I wanted to achieve back then.”
