The symbol of Taegeuk one “Il”  is Keon, meaning the sky or heaven, which symbolizes the begining of the universe. So Taegeuk Il Jang symbolizes the beginning in the training of Taekwondo. The form is for the 8th Gup. There are 18 movements.
