One-Off Weapons Workshops for Beginners

Sign up for our next weapons workshop on 1st June, 2023.

A perfect way to start

Power with Purpose will be hosting Weapons Workshops for Beginners throughout 2023.

These workshops are for anyone who has an interest in learning the fundamentals of using weapons like the bo staff or sword, but is unsure of where to begin.

The workshops are 90min in duration, with the first half devoted to bo staff and the second half to samurai sword techniques.

We will provide participants with the necessary weapons for the day of practice. Participants CANNOT bring their own equipment. This is to prevent damage to our premises and minimise risk of hazardous equipment that poses a risk to the student or other participants (ie, equipment that is too heavy, sharp or poorly designed for the activities in the workshop).

Students having weapon workshops

The weapons that participants utilise during the workshop will be available for a discounted price at the end of the lesson.
